الأبعاد الاجتماعية للمساواة بين الجنسين في التعليم والعوامل المعيقة

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the social dimensions of gender equality in education by exploring the impact of social, cultural and economic factors on achieving educational equity between males and females, and identifying the main obstacles to effective equality in this area. The study is based on the premise that education is one of the most important drivers of social change, but gender equality in access to and quality of education continues to be affected by traditional social structures, gender stereotypes, economic disparities and institutional practices.

          The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach, based on a review of theoretical literature and previous field studies, as well as a questionnaire directed at a sample of teachers, students and parents in a number of educational institutions. The results showed that equality in education is not achieved solely through enrolment opportunities, but requires an inclusive educational environment that takes gender into account in curricula, teaching methods and employment policies. It also found that the main obstacles are prevailing social beliefs about women's roles, low awareness of the importance of equal education, and the failure of education policies to address gender gaps.
